Indra launched the GHybrid Engine, an enterprise platform that combines its Cloud technology assets with those of Google (Indra's GPaaS and Google Cloud Platform). It is an offer of advanced solutions that brings together the advantages of models supported in private and public clouds. This is the first joint initiative since Indra's inclusion in the Google for Work Partner program as a Google Cloud Platform Technology Partner.

GHybrid Engine provides services that facilitate the transition and adaptation of companies' applications to the Cloud, as well as the development in SaaS (Software as a Service) mode of new solutions aimed at solving specific needs. Customers will be able to access a hybrid model that will allow them to use both their own data centers and public servers on demand to move information and create value, monitoring and managing in an automated way.

Google Cloud Platform comprises a set of modular services that allow from the creation of simple portals to the development of complex managed applications with powerful storage and computing capabilities.

In turn, GPaaS is a suite of assets comprising, among others, an infrastructure manager (iGIM) and a solutions marketplace (iGBC) that enable the development, execution and exploitation of cloud applications as a service against traditional licenses. With special capabilities such as multitenant (provision of services from the same infrastructure to several customers), compatibility with standards, scalability, high availability, monitoring, security and development capabilities on different infrastructures (IaaS).

The services that will be offered by the companies will provide small, medium and large companies with the opportunity to optimize their resources and operational costs, automate processes, control their own information in a unified way and increase their negotiation capacity by managing different public clouds (Amazon Web Service, VMWare RackSpace, among others) and private in a transparent way. In addition, it is intended to facilitate the use in SaaS mode of vertical open source applications such as WordPress, Joomla and Drupal.

Indra completes the offer with its OpTImiza methodology, to help its customers determine the best cloud transformation strategy, which allows an organization to objectively classify an organization's software solutions by two key factors: the transformation effort and the expected value (value acquired with the transformation). Indra and Google's proposal is to offer a complete solution of products and services, which includes consulting, application transformation, as well as the development of new services.
