Indra presents its new COMSec-VIP system, developed to protect information from large companies, directors and senior corporate management positions via cell phones.

The system allows the transmission of voice and data securely using the networks of any commercial operator. It is implemented on a wide variety of conventional cell phones, such as iPhone, iPad, Samsung or Nokia cell phones and tablets, and operates on the most common operating systems, such as iOS, Android, Windows Phone 8 and Windows OS.

The solution is able to calculate the point-to-point communication and uses a different random key for each call. The main differences from COMSec-VIP are ease of use, user experience and advanced instant messaging and video functionality. Cell phones can be used over networks with limited bandwidth and even low coverage.

Calls are also sent under calculated Internet Protocol (IP) packets, which prevents call tracking. The system is based on an application on the user's cell phone and on a virtual operator (IMS), which manages calls. It can be installed in the systems of the company or institution that uses it, offering total autonomy.

In addition to voice services (VoIP), the user can maintain group communication, use instant messaging, hold videoconferences, transmit videos and send images and files. It can create, for example, secure conference rooms or form workgroups to respond to a crisis situation, over any type of network (2G/3G/4G/LTE/WiFi/satellites).

Indra has already supplied this system to public bodies, some of the main Spanish companies, as well as governments and Ministries of Defense in other countries. Recently, the company signed a contract to develop such a system for the Spanish Customs Services.
