PIEBT offers support for the creation and development of companies
Applications for the selection of enterprises to be incubated through the Technology-Based Companies Incubation Program (PIEBT) of the Technological Innovation Agency of the Federal University of Pará – Universitec are open until September 30th. The public notice and all forms and other information are available on the Universitec website (http://www.universitec.ufpa.br/).
PIEBT offers technical and managerial support for the creation and/or development of companies that use technology as one of their main inputs, with a non-exclusive, but preferential focus, in the areas of Natural Products (food, cosmetics, perfumery and phytotherapics), Biotechnology , Information and Communication Technology – ICT, Mineral Technology, Design, Energy and other manufacturing industry activities.
Thirteen vacancies are being made available, three for the Resident category (with a fixed base in a module in the Incubator) and ten for the Associate category (with no fixed base in the Incubator, but benefited by the PIEBT's network of products and services). The incubated companies will also be covered by the practices resulting from the Term of Technical Cooperation and Scientific and Technological Exchange established between PIEBT/Universitec and the Guamá Science and Technology Park, which provides for joint actions for the development of research and extension in projects , activities and cooperation actions, aiming at research, innovation and technology transfer activities, which aim at the generation of innovative products and processes.
