Cietec Incubate Wins Intel Contest

The incubator of the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology (CIETEC), Naked Monkey, was one of the winners of the Intel Perceptual Challenge Brazil, which awarded developers who presented the most innovative ideas for apps with perceptual computing technology.
 
Pedro Monteiro Kayatt developed “Badaboom”, a 2D rhythmic game that allows the user to use virtual drums to advance in the game and command his character. With a tribal theme and visual aspects that refer to indigenous fights, the player must make movements with his hands to send messages to the avatar that will advance in a 2D plane facing different challenges.

ABES has a cooperation agreement with CIETEC, with the objective of supporting the development of incubated companies and innovative technology-based startups. With the agreement, new companies linked to Cietec have reduced membership contributions and access to various benefits, services and events promoted by ABES.
