Company specializing in fruit growing, focuses its attention on digital transformation and management outside the gate.

IBO FRUTAS, a mango producer and trader based in the São Francisco Valley, exports more than 950 tons of fruit monthly. The company, specialized in fruit growing, has achieved notoriety for the quality of its production, with 95% destined for the European market. Given its significant growth and aiming to optimize its entire operation, the company chose to implement the ERP and Agricultural Management solution from Senior Sistemas, a Brazilian management technology multinational.

“After evaluating several market players, mainly software providers that meet the needs of rural producers, and also in the fruit growing sector, the choice was for the Senior ERP with the agricultural management module, in particular the Packing House. This decision was motivated by Senior’s specialization and renown in the fruit growing sector”, highlights Luis Christofoli, Director of Ibó Frutas.

For the company, this choice was strategic because it contributes to the organization of the company's processes, allowing a consistent evolution of operations.

“With this investment we were able to ensure that process management is aligned with the company’s continued growth. The implementation of this solution is essential to provide greater control and organization, ranging from the acquisition of raw materials to the processing and marketing of the fruit. Furthermore, it will provide more efficient operational control of mango production, culminating in more accurate cost management based on reliable data”, reinforces the Senior Sistemas client.

“Senior has several fruit producers in its client portfolio, and this makes us look at this segment with a greater focus on its particularities so that we can deliver specific functionalities required by the operation, such as the rural producer’s digital cash book , agricultural management with notes directly from the field, packing house and fleet management”, says Loraine França, Head of the Northeast Branch of Senior Sistemas.

Rural producers are responsible for generating 21% of formal jobs in Brazil. In 2023, agriculture contributed almost 25% of GDP and almost half of Brazilian exports.
