IBM Brasil will offer a free download of the Infosphere BigInsights software from the IBM platform for Big Data for a period of one year, aligned with Hadoop technology (which allows the distributed processing of large data sets in a cluster of servers for general use) and business resources, including visualization and exploration, advanced analytics, and security and administration.
The software platform is the same that was used in the Ei! project, which analyzed, during the Confederations Cup, the comments posted on Twitter by millions of fans of the Brazilian team. The tool generated statistics and graphs that illustrated what fans thought of the Brazilian team and its players.
InfoSphere BigInsights Quick Start Edition, the latest edition of the family, is quick to download and there is no data capacity or time constraint, which allows it to be used in the analysis of large volumes of data, for different purposes and in different ways.
