With the objective of helping more customers to create environments of cloud hybrid, IBM has just announced new storage systems and solutions built for this modality. Among the novelties are IBM Power Systems servers for cloud computing, new Software Defined Storage, z Systems Hibrid Cloud family for the development of apps for mobile devices and Big Data solutions in storage.
 
The company released these updates as business leaders are increasingly adopting hybrid clouds to integrate investments in existing technologies with new workloads focused on mobile, big data and social solutions. At the same time, new technologies bring new volumes of data that create a huge management and storage challenge. In this regard, IBM hopes that the combination of IBM Power Systems, IBM Spectrum Storage, IBM z Systems, IBM Middleware, IBM SoftLayer and OpenStack servers can help companies more easily navigate and manage these environments and gain valuable insights from their Dice.

IBM has also just launched Power Systems solutions for SAP HANA, which will enable companies to quickly and cost-effectively implement SAP HANA ERP and thus prepare them to deal with today's big data challenges. "IBM's Power Systems architecture is uniquely designed to provide fast access to business-critical data. New Power for SAP HANA solutions deliver capabilities to meet customers' increasing expectations for reliability in core systems." says Jose Antonio Olivares, director of Power for IBM Latin America.
