Company will provide technology guidance and consulting to startups in the program

Start-Up Brasil, a national acceleration program managed by Softex, has just entered into a partnership with IBM Brasil, which aims to bring together the more than 150 companies participating in the program, through visits and technology consulting.

With several solutions aimed at companies of different sizes, IBM wants to get even closer to entrepreneurs and show how startups can be more efficient and innovative with the use of technology. “We are delighted to have IBM as a partner in the Start-Up Brasil program. Several of its technologies and products can accelerate development or add new features to solutions for startups participating in the program", explains Felipe Matos, COO of Start-Up Brasil.

For IBM, which already operates the GEP – Global Entrepreneurship Program, the agreement will allow a considerable market opening for startups in different sectors, in addition to helping entrepreneurs to generate more business and gain scalability.

“Our intention is to visit companies, offer mentoring, lectures, talk to entrepreneurs and understand what is missing for their business to become a success”, says Claudio Bessa, IBM's Ecosystem Development executive for Latin America. “We are going to show that IBM is within reach of these companies, offering them access to our technicians, support and the GEP program”, he concludes.
