Gadle and Nxer move on to the next stage of the world competition

IBM has announced the winners of the Brazilian final of SmartCamp, the company's largest event for startups and part of its global entrepreneurship program. Two winners were selected from among six finalists: Gadle and Nexer, which have solutions for the logistics and automotive segments, respectively.

The winners now follow a worldwide virtual phase, in which ten startups will be chosen to participate in one of the most significant events in the area, Launch Scale, in San Francisco, United States, in October.

At the end of December, a new selection takes place and three startups will be chosen. In February 2016, these companies will make a three-minute pitch at the Launch Festival, where IBM and Jason Calacanis – global entrepreneur, angel investor and responsible for this event, one of the largest in the world for startups – will choose the best of the year, which will receive the title of “IBM Entrepreneur of the Year”. As a prize, the winner will receive USD 25,000 in investment, which includes participation for three months in the Launch incubator, in Silicon Valley.
