What is the impact of misuse of technology on public security? Interpol and FBI scholar and consultant Marc Goodman tries to clarify this issue in his most recent work he has just released in Brazil: “Future Crime”, by HSM Educação Executiva. In his book, the author explores how criminals are ready to hijack the technologies of the future, including robotics, synthetic biology and artificial intelligence. Goodman, who has a solid career in public security and against terrorism, points out ways to survive the progress of technology and signals how to regain control of devices and exploit the power of technology for the advancement of humanity.

Another HSM launch is the book Shared Economy, by Robin Chase, co-founder of Zipcar, which talks about the reinvention of capitalism through people and collaborative platforms. The work defends the benefits of the model in which companies and individuals work together to sell products and services. For the teacher, Google, Facebook, Youtube, Waze, Whatsapp and Uber are some companies that are part of this transformation of the economy. Robin Chase also believes that an excess capacity associated with a platform for participation and people forms a shared economy structure, which he calls Peers Inc, which combines the best power of people and the corporate environment.
