New edition of the Experiance Jam innovation event takes place in August, in São Carlos (SP)
Until July 27th, registrations are open for the Serasa Experian hackathon Experiance Jam, which will take place in São Carlos (SP), on August 18th and 19th. The prizes total R$ 40 thousand reais, with R$ 10 thousand reais for each of the four challenges. Participants can register for the technological marathon individually or in teams through the website www.ej5.com.br, just fill out the online form, read and accept the regulation.
The teams formed must contain from three to 10 participants, and at least two developers and a UX designer are indicated in the composition of the team. 200 participants will be selected for the hackathon, who will have from 9 am on the 18th to 18 pm on the 19th to solve the proposed challenges.
In the selection of candidates, a team of judges will evaluate technical and behavioral information entered at the time of application. The 200 selected will be announced on the Experience Jam website after registration closes. Among the judges of the hackathon is the director of the innovation laboratory (DataLab) at Serasa Experian, Marcelo Pimenta.

• “Customer Vibe”
The objective is to track and understand what consumers are saying about the institution and its competitors in order to improve service, offer better products, etc. The challenge proposes the automatic identification of relevant topics of the end customer's conversation and the feelings around these topics, using NLP (Natural Language Processing).
• “How to create an identity for individuals on blockchain?”
This challenge provokes participants to reflect on how we can create a safer digital identity for individuals, on blockchain, in an inclusive, convenient and disruptive way for the Brazilian market.
• “Analytics”
How to make the best analysis and prediction of the Brazilian market with public and private databases? The startup Arquivei, from São Carlos, will provide the inputs to carry out this challenge, which will be based on invoices. The proposal is for participants to create a solution that can visually show the main markets in Brazil and how they are distributed.
• Surprise Challenge!
The fourth challenge is a surprise and will be announced at the beginning of the Experience Jam.
Free lectures and workshops
During the Experience Jam, in addition to the hackathon, free courses and workshops (EJ Share) will be offered on topics such as technology, education and financial management, innovation, among others. Activities open to the entire community, just sign up. The agenda and registration will open soon. “As the event grew, we realized that the Experience JAM could be much more than a hackathon. That's why EJ Share was born, which aims to be a space for exchanging and sharing knowledge among the entire community”, explains Pimenta.
