The company has 34,000 employees and improving people management has become key in the strategy 
 
A national reference in the provision of services, the Verzani & Sandrini Group saw, three years ago, the need to implement a technology that would allow it to optimize its processes, in addition to improving people management, due to the high demand of the more than 34 thousand employees in its payroll.
 
The solution chosen was People Management | Senior's HCM, composed of time management tools, corporate portal and workflow. The project, which had an investment of R$ 3 million, started in March 2016 and, in October of the same year, the first phase was completed, with the payroll system. Soon after, the other modules were implemented: recruitment and selection; training and development; performance evaluation; among others.
 
Among the gains obtained with the tool are the simplification of processes and the reduction of processing time for employee benefits, which used to take one day to just 30 minutes. The same goes for payroll, posting provisions and closing the payroll.
 
“We achieved the objective of automating processes and increasing productivity, with greater speed in data processing and more consistency and security in the application of management rules”, celebrates Paulo Afonso Marques, general manager of HR at the Verzani & Sandrini group.
 
IT and HR protagonists
 
Also according to the executive, the joint work of IT with the group's HR area was essential to enable the implementation of Senior's solution and, consequently, achieve the results obtained so far.
 
“Both areas are protagonists and, together, they made a big difference in the company's business strategy and, now, they reap the fruits of this effort”, he says. “For any business area, IT can optimize processes, cut unnecessary costs and even increase profits”, adds Marques.
