Differentiated solution ensures full control over licensed technologies

The New Space Group, which has offered technological solutions to companies in the financial segment for 30 years, announced the launch of Escrow - aimed at companies that use software licenses. The secure guard solution transports and archives source codes so that companies have full control over the licensed technology, even if they hire another one or decide to replace the application.

“When purchasing software licenses, every company depends on the supplier for technical support and periodic maintenance. This exposes it to risks that can generate significant impacts in the event of failures or lack of service provision, ”says Emilio Cominato, President of the New Space Group.

The service also allows companies to have more time to analyze options and negotiate favorable license terms with new suppliers, without paralyzing activities. The service is part of the Safe Space portfolio, an area of the New Space Group specialized in media and document storage.

For security reasons, media with source code are packed in suitcases with tamper-proof numbered seals. The New Space Group transports the materials in standardized packaging with security seals for the confidentiality of the content and manages all the necessary documentation for the implantation of the source code.

The storage location has complete security infrastructure, temperature and humidity control, as well as fire prevention equipment. The media are transported in suitcases protected against fire and impact. The Safe Space team offers periodic support and customers can consult their collection in real time over the Internet, through login and passwords available in an exclusive system.
