The Benner Group, a Brazilian leader in providing software solutions and services that boost company processes, has just announced the resumption of its operations in the tourism segment. With a projected growth of 30% in this vertical, the company offers an advanced technological solution management for travel agencies and operators, facilitating all operational, financial, tax and accounting control of the agency.

The Benner Group began its operations in the tourism sector in the first years of its foundation, around the 2000s, maintaining its presence in this segment until 2019. The strategic decision to reintegrate this vertical into its operations comes in accordance with the gradual recovery sector and is aligned with the Group's reorganization. In addition to the reintegration of strategic units, planning involves implementing tactics cross sales in different sectors.

According to the Benner Group's Market and Product Manager, Aoron Beyer, since his return to the sector, new customers have been gained, in addition to the expansion of the vertical and improvement of its focus product, doubling the scope with new functionalities. “We currently have more than 40 active clients, including important names in the corporate travel market, such as Copastur, Kontik, BeFly, TourHouse, Primetour, Maringá Turismo, among others”, he adds.

Focus on the corporate market and future projections

According to Corporate Travel Survey (LVC), from FecomercioSP, in November 2023, the movement of companies with corporate travel, Benner's main focus for this year, reached almost R$ 12 billion, an increase of 7.6% compared to the same period in 2022.

Given this heated market, the cloud-based 100% management software offered by the company enables cost reduction, automation and control in areas such as management, controllership and governance. This includes management accounting, tax accounting, taxation and automated issuance of invoices, providing automation and security to agencies and operators. Furthermore, the use of an ERP also makes it possible to manage the main legal obligations with the Federal Government, optimizing various processes.

The executive explains that the Group's solution offers several advantages to companies in the sector. “Benner's management system can result in a significant reduction of 30 to 40% in the need for corporate travel agency back-office employees. Automation implemented in several areas is our main approach, standing out as a true differentiator. Our focus is still on providing efficiency, enabling a high reduction in operational costs”, adds Beyer.

The expansion of the Benner Group also involves strengthening the corporate market, with new solutions and an innovative approach. Furthermore, the company is seeking considerable expansion in the leisure operator market, where it identifies a significant growth perspective and plans to launch a solution aimed at this audience in 2024.

Customer Committee

In an effort to highlight the latest innovations developed for the industry, Benner hosted an exclusive customer event in March. The event provided an interactive environment, where the company presented its technological innovations, demonstrated its management systems and shared insights into the competitive Brazilian tourism market.

The event was attended by Benner Group's Vice President of Operations, Lucrécia Oliveira, who shared the strategic importance of this vertical for the Group. “This sector is an extremely important segment in our country, which, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, suffered all this economic embezzlement and has recovered quickly. In this sense, it was a segment in which we reevaluated the strategy and understood that a rapprochement was crucial, given Benner's broad expertise and track record of success. With this, we have increased our operations in this vertical and are investing continuously and solidly”, concludes the executive.
