To simplify the work of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) managers, the Ministry of Planning, Development and Management (MP) launched the SISP Panel. A new tool has up-to-date information on the actions established in the Work Plans contracted between the Information Technology Secretariat (STI) and 24 ministries. The instrument also provides data on the software used by the bodies that make up the Information Technology Resources Administration System (SISP).

“SISP Panel is a technology management tool. Its main function is to help the manager's day-to-day activities when making a decision”, explains the MP's Information Technology Secretary, Marcelo Pagotti. According to him, other features will soon be incorporated into the new system.

The work plans were contracted at the beginning of this year, during the reception of the new Information Technology Analysts. The activities are divided into groups such as “Strategic Projects”, “Digital Governance Strategy” and “Structuring Processes”. The results of the 2nd Work Plan Monitoring Cycle are now available on the panel. In all, there are 676 actions to be completed by the end of 2017.

Software Catalog
Officially established by Ordinance No. 48, the SISP Software Catalog brings together ICT solutions used by the Federal Public Administration since July this year. The information forwarded by the bodies is also published in the SISP Panel. “We want to promote software sharing because it generates savings for the government. The catalog information is on the panel to facilitate its visualization”, said Pagotti.

The SISP is the structure used by the federal government for the organization of work, control, supervision and coordination of the ICT area in direct, autonomous and foundational administration. The system currently comprises more than 220 public institutions.
