Presentation by Professor José Carlos Luxo will be on 11/9

“Efficient financial management maximizes business results”. This is what economist, professor and consultant José Carlos Luxo emphasizes. He is the fourth guest speaker for the ABES Lecture Cycle, in celebration of the entity's 30th anniversary, and will speak about financial management, on November 9, at 9 am, at the Hotel Bourbon Ibirapuera, in São Paulo. The event is free for members, but seats are limited.

In his lecture, Luxo will address the current economic scenario and policy, making a parallel to other moments of crisis: “Let's discuss what the crises of the past teach us”, he adds. Financial management is fundamental for the elaboration of a company's strategic planning and for all the actions that the entrepreneur wants to carry out. In addition, there are legal and tax requirements that need to be met.

While good financial management is fundamental for the business of companies of all sizes, financial lack of control, in the assessment of Luxury, is among the worst mistakes, especially for micro and small companies, with greater difficulty in absorbing the consequences of bad management.

The professor anticipates one of the tips he will give at the event to have financial management with low investment: “Use the digital technology available in banks or internet applications that integrate the cash flow of your business”.

Doctor in Administration from FEA-USP, Master in Financial Administration from PUC (SP), Luxo is a professor of MBA courses at FIA, FIPE, PUC-SP, Insper and Fundação Dom Cabral, as well as co-author of books, having worked in the financial market for over 20 years.
