GE Healthcare, the healthcare division of GE, announces the expansion of its partnership with Brazilian company Inovapar Soluções, in order to increase distribution and access to support for GE Healthcares Healthcare IT portfolio in Brazil. Inovapar's collaboration will allow the multinational to expand its participation and increase its competitive advantage, with operations in six Brazilian states: Alagoas, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Minas Gerais, Rio de Janeiro and Sergipe. In addition, with the partnership, GE will be able to increase the speed of its support service, as well as its installations, projects and deployments throughout Brazil.

The long-term partnership aims to benefit healthcare institutions with the expertise of the two companies in the market. GE Healthcare provides information technology solutions for several healthcare institutions, including the RIS (Radiology Information System), a system that manages the flow of information such as registration, scheduling, reporting, information exchange, and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication System), a solution that works with images of different clinical modalities in the same workstation. PACS allows the radiologist to improve images, perform rotations, compare different exams and patient history from the same computer. Inovapar (http://www.inovapar.com.br) has been working for over 15 years as a consulting, project, integration and technology implementation company focused on the healthcare area.

Some of the products distributed by Inovapar Soluções are already part of the GE portfolio. The web portal of reports and images 'VeDocs' is approved by the multinational to structure PACS images and RIS reports, ensuring that all are securely published on the internet, following the standard of the institution that uses the solutions. Due to the partnership, the web portal is already implemented in clients such as Amil (RJ and SP), Clínica Villas Boas (DF), Unimed Sorocaba (SP) and Rio Imagem (RJ). In addition to the Portal, Inovapar's Business Intelligence (WhiteBox), TATco, and reporting (Clirea ART) solutions were also approved and are fully integrated with Centricity PACS, Centricity RIS, Centricity Zero footprint and Centricity Universal Viewer, other solutions that make up the GE portfolio.

From now on, Inovapar acts as a distribution channel for GE Healthcare's IT systems, with the objective of offering the best solutions for each type of healthcare business. “The partnership established by GE Healthcare with Inovapar Soluções reinforces our commitment to increase healthcare institutions' access to high-tech Healthcare IT and better meet the demands of these regions”, highlights Paulo Banevicius, Director of Healthcare IT at GE Healthcare for the Latin America.
