In August, Brazil will host the first national edition of G-Startup Worldwide, a global competition between innovative startups. The deadline for registration is July 11, 2016 and can be done through the website: http://saopaulo.thegmic.com/

Ten startups will be selected, which will present their product during the GMIC – Global Mobile Internet Conference in São Paulo, which takes place on August 24th, and the winner will receive an investment of 50 thousand dollars; three days of training at Google Headquarters and a year as a member of the GWC Inc business club. In addition, the winner will compete in the grand final of innovative startups in Silicon Valley and compete for a prize of US$300,000 and reach the visibility of the biggest players and investors around the world.

GMIC is an international conference program that explores the impact of mobile technologies on society. The event will address business opportunities in the mobile market in eight cities around the world, holistically, as part of the international ecosystem, providing an opportunity for mobile industry leaders to share ideas, foster business and, in the future, develop international operations.
