The 21st edition will feature many new features such as Future Payment, Future Gov, Future Jud, Future Cyber and Future Tech

The 21st edition of Futurecom, one of the largest and most important technology, telecommunications and digital transformation events in Latin America, will be held from October 28 to 31, 2019, at São Paulo Expo. Promoted by Informa Markets, Futurecom is consolidated as a complete digital transformation event, combining the hyperconnectivity brought by disruptive technologies, which will be presented in the exhibition area and debated during the International Congress. Among the main novelties of this 21st edition are the inclusion of five major events that encompass relevant topics and will give a new tone to Futurecom: Future Payment, Future Gov, Future Jud, Future Cyber and Future Tech. Future Payment

Financial ecosystem trends such as flexibility and ease of access to banking services, open banking, contactless, blockchain, e-Wallets, stablecoins and digital currencies, private label, mobile payments and tokenization, security & fraud, will be topics of debate at Future Payment . Representatives of large companies such as Magazine Luiza, IBM Brasil, Pitaia Bank, Petróleo Ipiranga, Brazilian Association of Cryptoeconomy (Abcripto), Ripple Brazil and South America, McDonald's, Nexoos, Zaitt, Ebanx, Banco Original, among others, are confirmed.

Future Gov

Future Gov will bring to the public discussions on how Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) transform the government's relationship with citizens. Solutions capable of streamlining public services will be presented, ensuring more transparency and efficiency to processes. The Municipal Secretary of Innovation and Technology of the City of São Paulo, Daniel Annenberg, will show how the “São Paulo Digital” program meets the great demand of the population and generates savings for the public coffers.

Future Jud

Future Jud will integrate professionals and decision makers from the legal profession and from the various institutions that make up the Judiciary and the Justice system, in addition to promoting updating and exchange of experiences between them. As in all areas, the Law has an unprecedented scenario in the face of business possibilities provided by technology. Traditional methods and stable companies now have a new reality in the face of startups in the sector. Future Jud intends to point out new paths in the legal universe, new ways of working for law firms, partnerships with lawtechs and legaltechs and the transformation of the public services of the Judiciary.

Future Cyber

As security permeates all areas and events, Future Cyber will emphasize the importance of educational actions for people to ensure device security – personal and corporate. In Brazil, the perception of information theft can take from 200 to 3,000 days. The event will address the importance of safeguarding information, based on the tripod technology, processes and people.

Future Tech

Future Tech will bring together the interested community to reflect on new technology trends and how traditional businesses will embrace and survive new business models. The space is divided into five major verticals: Cloud, Services, Systems, Transactions & Cybersecurity.

According to Hermano Pinto, director of Futurecom, “the hyperconnectivity brought about by new communication technologies, associated with the breaking of paradigms made possible by new disruptive technologies, opens space for the transformation of value chains, creation of new industries and interaction between different segments of the economy. . The Congress

Futurecom will focus on three major themes: Connectivity (5G, IoT, virtualization, satellites, broadband, wireless, Data Center, Edge Computing and Cloud), Disruptive Technologies (Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Bots, Quantum Computing, Digital Twins, Data Analytics and OTT) and Digital Transformation Solutions in the agribusiness, energy, retail, health, finance, security and mobility segments.

In 2019, the Future Congress will feature 11 Keynote Spearkers, including Greg Peters, Chief Product Officer and team leader responsible for the design, creation and optimization of the Netflix experience, and Christian Gebara, CEO of Telefônica Brasil, owner of operator Vivo. Lectures by José Félix, president of Claro Brasil, are confirmed; Mauro Fukuda, director of strategy and network architecture at Oi; in addition to representatives of federal, state and municipal government agencies and agencies, such as the Federal Attorney General's Office, National Institute of Information Technology, Ministry of Economy, São Paulo State Court of Auditors, São Paulo City Hall and Bauru City Hall. There will be 47 debate panels, 100 lectures and 140 hours of content, involving leading professionals and executives from companies of all sizes.
