Vanzolini Foundation expands use of Adobe's Collaborative Web Conferencing technology. The acquisition of Adobe Connect technology had already taken place in 2014, but the partnership with ENG already existed due to the acquisition of other Adobe solutions, such as Dreamweaver, ColdFusion, among others, dating back to 2000. In addition to providing Adobe technologies, ENG also trains Fundação Vanzolini personnel, ensuring productivity and quality in the use of these technologies.
The Adobe Connect used by the Foundation has the functionality of live interactive meetings, classes and seminars via the Internet. In addition to the uses of chats, polls, transmission of materials, audio and video, publication of files for download, etc.; all in an integrated way and regardless of the environment: Desktop, Tablets and Smartphones.
The use of Adobe Connect facilitates and expands communication between all educational agents involved in the various initiatives of training programs and courses of the different Departments, for the benefit of the learning processes.
Fundação Carlos Alberto Vanzolini, more specifically in its services segment GTE – Management of Technologies in Education – is responsible for the design, development, implementation and monitoring of educational programs involving distance learning solutions and multimedia production. In these projects, various technological solutions are used to support communication initiatives. Technical teams research, test and apply market solutions in this segment, which extends to the ADOBE product line.
At the moment, the main ongoing project with the use of Adobe Connect, resulting from the free assignment of use of the license by Fundação Vanzolini to the São Paulo State Department of Education, focuses on the in-service training of thousands of teachers and other agents of education in more than 5,000 schools. The tool, which will be used in a systemic way associated with other technological solutions, will mainly allow the orientation and training of groups of teachers aiming at the improvement of teaching-learning processes in specific areas of knowledge.
The other Adobe solutions used by Fundação Vanzolini, implemented by ENG DTP & Multimídia, more recently, are Adobe Captivate and Adobe Creative Cloud (especially Animate – a replacement for Flash).
ENG DTP & Multimídia received from Adobe the Best and Biggest Work in Education Award, based on Adobe technologies and aimed at universities and schools in the Brazilian market.
