The Repsol Foundation, in Spain, has opened applications, until March 12, for the seventh edition of the Entrepreneurs Fund, a business accelerator that supports startups with innovative solutions in the energy, advanced mobility, circular economy and new materials for the energy and chemical industry. Interested parties may submit proposals at the site gives Repsol Foundation.
 
Selected projects will receive up to €144,000 over a year, in addition to training support, advice from a team of mentors and access to potential investors. Those selected will be announced in the third quarter of 2018. Applications can be made through the website: http://fundacionrepsol.stream-es.org.
 
Selected proposals will receive financial support, specialized training, advice from a team of mentors and access to potential investors. The support does not imply any type of participation in the company's capital or the assignment of intellectual property rights by the Repsol Foundation.
 
The acceleration process lasts for one year, but can be extended for another year in the case of projects.
 
Who can participate?
 
Small and medium-sized companies, as well as individuals who have not yet set up their company. It is a global initiative in which entrepreneurs from anywhere in the world can participate.
 
The Entrepreneurs Fund supports startups at two levels of development:
 
Projectstartups developed, but have not yet reached the stage of commercial planning.
 
Idea: startups that are in the technology or business model validation phase.
 
The Fundación Repsol accelerator focuses on startups working on innovative solutions in four areas:
 
  • Digitization and mobility, innovative proposals that add value to society.
  • new materials for the chemical and energy industry, construction or transport.
  • Circular economy.
  • Improved energy efficiency and/or processes in operations in the energy and chemical industry and in exploration and production.
