Leaders in financial market innovations and new businesses will meet with government officials in Fintech Impacts Forum: Cases, New Rules and Opportunities, on the 12th of April, at the Hotel Meliá Jardim Europa, in São Paulo. Scenario
A mapping of the fintech market in Brazil, carried out last year by Finnovation, together with Finnovista and the BID, shows that Brazil is the largest fintech market in Latin America with 219 startups divided into 16 segments, ahead of Mexico (158 startups), Colombia (77 startups), Argentina (60 startups) and Chile (56 startups). Most are in the payments area (31%). According to data from FintechLab, an entity that monitors the sector, between January and November of last year, the number of fintechs grew by 36% in Brazil alone.
