Ford announced the winners of the São Paulo Mobility Challenge who developed applications with solutions for multimodal transport. Gabriel Araújo, 20, a student from São Paulo, was the main recipient of the muvall app, which integrates the public bus or carpooling system.

Another highlight was Ernani Machado, from Minas Gerais, who proposed the MOBQI app, which brings together bus tracking and information about taxis, among other features. The gaucho Enrique Maelgarejo created with his team the Vita app, which provides, in real time, guidelines for drivers, pedestrians, hitchhikers, cyclists and users of taxis and the public system to choose the best route.

The São Paulo Mobility Challenge is part of Ford's global program called Innovative Mobility Challenge, which has already promoted contests in major cities around the world.
