The Firjan System presented a portfolio of new products and services for entrepreneurs in the information technology and telecommunications sectors in the state of Rio. The four areas of activity in which the entity will support the growth of the sector are innovation, qualification, business and public policies.
“The sector is fundamental not only for the growth of the economy, but also for the development of the classic industry of the state”, said the coordinator of the ICT Industry Development Project of the Federation, Ana Hofmann. , events, missions and support for technological innovation. She pointed out that, in the coming weeks, committees will be structured to discuss and monitor the actions that will be carried out in 2015.
The support plan for companies was announced during the event “TI and Telecom: Desafios 2022”, held by the Firjan System in partnership with the Union of Electronics, Informatics, Telecommunications, Components and Similar Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Sinditec).
At the meeting, which was attended by around 200 people, the president of the Firjan System, Eduardo Eugenio Gouvêa Vieira, thanked the presence of around one hundred companies at the event and the work of Sinditec in partnership with the Federation. “Without the companies engaged with the union and, therefore, with the Federation, we don't have the slightest sense of existence”.
