Four projects were elected the winners of the 5th edition of Acelera Startup, promoted by the Committee of Young Entrepreneurs (CJE) of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (Fiesp). There were three winners in the general category – with projects related to energy efficiency, education, professional outplacement – and one in the special category, dedicated to initiatives related to the civil construction sector.

In the general category, Neiriberto de Azevedo took first place with the Q2D, focused on energy efficiency. The project aims to save electricity in industries. In the pilot phase, the project seeks energy efficiency and sustainability. "The product manages the entire electrical energy management of an industry, company, home. It generates graphs and provides an energy efficiency strategy, with preventive alarms that indicate any type of problem in the electrical part, providing preventive actions to the user", explained Azevedo . According to him, monitoring is done via the internet, with the possibility of making queries in real time.

The second place in the general category is the graphic designer Fábio Tadeu Garcia, creator of Educational Matere. The central idea of the project is to combat children's lack of interest in studies. "The solution for this is to combine education with entertainment. One of the pieces is a reading game that uses augmented reality. By playing, children learn new words and expand their vocabulary, giving life to everything they write", he reinforced.

Bruno Praça was in third place for the Active Reservation, a project that helps ex-soldiers to seek replacement in the job market. The author served for nearly nine years in the Army. His idea is a startup aimed at replacing those who left the Armed Forces on the market. "The military inspire confidence. Who wouldn't want to have one in their company?", he asked. "Someone committed, serious, qualified and dedicated", he highlighted.

In the special category dedicated to civil construction, the winner is Carlos Evangelista, author of GSM. The project is focused on constructions and works and uses photovoltaic solar energy to combine sustainability with construction sites. "The focus is to get people to use clean and renewable energy," he said. As a prize, Evangelista won a trip to Paris. According to him, electricity cannot be missing at any construction site. "We work with solar energy and convert it into electrical energy. The idea is to combine sustainability with photovoltaic solar energy."

Organized by the Committee of Young Entrepreneurs (CJE) of the Federation of Industries of the State of São Paulo (FIESP), the event took place on November 12 and 13, at Fiesp's headquarters, after selecting 200 startups, projects and/or ideas whose entrepreneurs participated in lectures, mentoring and individual assessments with investors.

The 200 best projects were selected, among two thousand entries, and only ten made it to the final. The deals were presented to a panel made up of major angel investors in the country and to the general public. Three of them were the big winners of the contest. The event was attended by more than 50 angel investors, who formed the largest bank in the country, with the total amount of investment available around R$ 500 billion.
