FH Consulting implemented a startup program for the more than 350 employees of the company, a partner of the German multinational SAP, with the aim of supporting initiatives that bring innovative and technological proposals to the market.

The idea arose after businessman Ricardo Fachin, director of FH, participated in two editions of Startup Weekend, an event in which administrators, programmers and designers set up a company from scratch in just 54 hours.

According to Fachin, who was a judge at the Startup Weekend editions held in São Paulo and Curitiba, investing in technology startups based on innovation is in line with his company's growth plan. “The acceleration with which changes occur in the technology area makes the challenge of finding the right solution for each problem a complex task, demanding time and investment in research and development.”

Recently, FH set up the “Solution Team”, with the aim of bringing employees together to discuss solutions. The initiative was successful and resulted in Approve Me, an application to approve documents.

According to Fábio Hauagge, the company's commercial director, ApproveMe allows connecting SAP or non-SAP RPs to a mobile device through the cloud. The great advantage of this ready-to-use application, as stated by the director, “is the short period required for implementation and the SAS licensing model, where each customer pays per year and number of devices”.

“The fact is that not everyone has an idea, but creating programs to stimulate creativity is a great start. Making sure employees have the experience of creating a business, validating ideas, challenging them, is part of learning”, concludes Fachin.
