already the Overview of Brazilian Federal Public Policies Aimed at Small Businesses, A study by Mauro Oddo Nogueira, from IPEA, maps the federal government's public policies aimed at micro, small and medium-sized companies.

“The main finding of the work is that there is an abundance of instruments in the country aimed at supporting smaller companies; but, it seems, there is also a lack of focus and coordination between them and between the responsible bodies, which ends up negatively impacting their effectiveness", explains the author, who in the work presents programs, actions and the various instruments to promote the segment.
