One of the most traditional educational institutions in Brazil, Faculdade Cásper Líbero has invested in its journey of digital transformation and carried out a project, with the support of Brasoftware, and started to give free access to its students to Adobe solutions, a reference company in solutions and applications in the creative and communication segment, verticals where Cásper Líbero focuses on its courses.

A thousand licenses from Adobe were acquired for 50% from its student body, within a special Adobe program where Brasoftware was the partner that managed the project.

For Juliana Jeminez, Education Manager at Brasoftware, the solution's strongest point is the ability to transform students' personal computers, as well as their tablets, smartphones, among other devices, into extensions of the college's labs. “From the use of Adobe's cloud service, Adobe Cloud, there is no longer any concern with flash drives, external hard drives, as the student can start the task on campus and continue it at home, or in any other environment, after downloading the app. In this way, the application gives students mobility and greater practicality”, said Juliana.

For the initial step of implementing the solution, the educational entity created a hotsite where it hosted these licenses and made them available to the first thousand students who accessed the platform, in order to assess students' adherence to the project.

Considering the positive feedback received and the high interest rate from students, the institution is already thinking about expanding the project in the near future. “The solution was a huge step forward for us and for the students. It provides a differential of something that has not yet been explored in other faculties: mobility”, says David Verzolla, IT manager at Faculdade Cásper Líbero, who highlighted the ability to integrate the application with the institution's user accounts. “The same data that the student uses on the Cásper Líbero website, in the library and in other resources of the faculty, can be used to log in to Adobe Cloud, making it faster to rescue a file to continue working on it, save it on another device or use it as a portfolio,” added Verzolla.

About Brasoftware, the faculty highlighted the company's support in more than 15 years of professional partnership, “They helped us several times along our digital transformation journey. It is a partnership where both sides have been developing, we have the need to have an IT partner that helps us with the challenges of an educational institution, such as modernization of our solutions, student access to information, security between others, and luckily Brasoftware has been able to serve us, having this long-standing partnership”, says the CIO.
