Second edition of the event takes place on October 30th and 31st at FecomercioSP headquarters

 

Innovative products and services from technology-based startups in the health, environment, electronics, chemical, biotechnology and information technology sectors will be featured at the 2nd Technology-Based Innovation and Entrepreneurship Exhibition and Conference (II Expocietec). In addition to the exhibition, presentations such as those by Bel Pesce – the Brazilian that stood out in Silicon Valley – and Carlos Souza, CEO of Veduca (a portal that brings together video classes from renowned universities in several countries), are part of the schedule of workshops and lectures event, which will also feature a forum between entrepreneurs and investors.
 
The II Expocietec takes place on October 30 and 31, in São Paulo, and is a partnership between the Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology (Cietec) and the Federation of Commerce of Goods, Services and Tourism of the State of São Paulo (FecomercioSP ).
 
Fair

The startup fair takes place during the two-day event. It will be possible to learn about products such as bioinsecticide against dengue mosquitoes, three-dimensional effect paint, an integrated system that shoots up to 72 cameras simultaneously for 360-degree photos, business management software, among others. In all, 60 companies participate in the exhibition. One of the novelties is the Green Corridor, a space for technology-based businesses focused on the sustainability area. Lectures and workshops for entrepreneurs

Focused on developing the business environment for micro and small companies, II Expocietec also has lectures and workshops. On the first day, successful startups such as Gesto Saúde (develops processes and software for the management of health plans and risks) and P3D (produces virtual reality software for school education) share the development process with entrepreneurs of their businesses, from incubation to maturity.

Workshops on patents, internationalization and regulation in the health area complete the schedule, which ended with a lecture on entrepreneurship by Bel Pesce, the young woman who, at age 25, has already founded a company in Silicon Valley, has written two best-sellers on career and is the author of an entrepreneurship program.
 
On the second and last day, the director of Nodal Consultoria, German Alfonso, talks about how to prepare companies for investments and the CEO of Veduca, Carlos Souza, talks about the distance learning market. The Veduca platform brings together video classes from renowned universities in the United States, England, Australia and Brazil.
 
In the afternoon, the DEMO Brasil/Expocietec takes place, with a presentation of previously selected startups' businesses, interspersed with conversations with successful entrepreneurs and startup investors (Anjos do Brasil, Plataforma Investimentos, Tree Labs, e.Bricks Digital, Intel Capital and Redpoint e.Ventures). The meeting is a partnership between Expocietec and DEMO Brasil, a platform specialized in selecting, guiding, promoting and making well-
- successful products and innovative businesses.
