The solutions provide access to the latest research and evidence on different aspects of health for the institution's physicians

Wolters Kluwer is supporting the new Princess Máxima Center in the company's home country of the Netherlands through its deep healthcare expertise, providing two advanced medical solutions – UpToDate and Lexicomp – in addition to financial support. The solutions provide access to the latest research and evidence on different aspects of health for the institution's physicians. With this, Wolters Kluwer aims to empower professionals to make decisions with greater confidence and reduce variability of care, ensuring that patients benefit from greater evidence-based knowledge.

"Our goal is to improve health for the children at the Center and increase the cure rate to 100%, as our mission is to cure all children with cancer and enable an optimal quality of life. All activities at this hospital are supported by a State-of-the-art ICT. Wolters Kluwer's tools fit very well into the Center's education and training program. We are delighted with the offering, which can help our medical professionals make a positive impact on their patients," said Gertjan Kaspers, Director of the Academy of the Princess Máxima Pediatric Oncology Center.

Dave Patnaik, Vice President and General Manager Clinical Effectiveness at Wolters Kluwer Health, added: "We are proud to be able to offer the Princess Máxima Center our solutions to support medical professionals in such an important, innovative and high-profile academic environment. UpToDate and Lexicomp are tools that combine the latest research and recommendations based on scientific evidence to ensure accuracy, improve efficiency and time, which is a challenge for the medical industry, as well as reduce the variability of care."
