Former Revenue Secretary will be at the ABES Software Conference
With the end of the impeachment process, expectations grow regarding the new government's measures to overcome the economic and fiscal crises, as well as the reduction of unemployment. What to expect and what impacts will they have on the various sectors of the economy, especially software and services?
To outline the possible scenarios that companies will face, the former Secretary of the Federal Revenue, Everardo Maciel, will be one of the speakers at the ABES Software Conference, which will be held on September 15, at WTC Events, in São Paulo.
The tax consultant and CEO of Logos Consultoria Fiscal, who will address the topic “Taxation Challenges, teaches postgraduate courses at the Instituto Brasiliense de Direito Público (IDP), in Brasília. He is a member of the Superior Council of Economics of FIESP, of the Superior Council of Law of FECOMERCIO/SP and of other entities and organizations. He was Secretary of the Federal Revenue (1995-2002) and Secretary of Finance and Planning of the Federal District (1991-1994).
Last June, ABES and other sector entities delivered a document to the current president Michel Temer, in which they point out that, despite the current situation, the use of technologies is configured as an alternative for leveraging the economy and social well-being. In addition, the manifesto also suggested short-term initiatives to leverage Brazil's digital transformation.

THE ABES Software Conference 2016, has as its theme “Digital World - Challenges and opportunities for a changing society”.
