Lunch promoted by Vertical Games is part of the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013, coordinated by Endeavor Santa Catarina

Increasing engagement among a company's employees is a challenge for organizations of the most diverse sectors and sizes. A concept that began in the IT sector, and that has been gaining more and more supporters within companies that seek tools and strategies for this purpose, is “Gamification” or “Gamification”, a practice that establishes scores, goals and awards. On November 5th, Vertical Games of the Catarinense Association of Technology Companies (ACATE) promotes, from 12:15 pm, a Verticalmoço to discuss this topic, at the Hotel Maria do Mar, in Florianópolis.

The meeting, which is part of the program for the Global Entrepreneurship Week 2013 – which takes place between November 18th and 24th, coordinated by Endeavor Santa Catarina -, aims to present and analyze some engagement techniques and how gamification can be used to support companies to attract and keep their customers and motivate their employees.

The lecture will be given by UFSC doctoral student and researcher Alexandre Sena, starting at 1 pm, and will address issues such as the psychology behind gamification and player motivation according to game developers, in addition to presenting world cases about the use of Gamification in the IT sector and in the industry.
