The Brazilian Institute of Competition Ethics – ETCO and Editora Campus Elsevier will hold a debate on the 14th, at 19:00, at the Vila Bookstore in Shopping JK, in São Paulo, to launch the work "Corruption – Obstacle to the Development of Brazil" . In addition to Oscar Pilagallo, author of the book, the debate will feature Roberto Abdenur, executive president of ETCO, and former minister Ellen Gracie Northfleet.

The work presents both a historical and prospective approach, on how corruption is an obstacle to economic development, as it subtracts resources from public policies, causes a loss of competitiveness of companies and strengthens the culture of leniency, favoring illegal practices.
