Gamux – Unicamp's Internal Game Development School will hold the Global Game Jam between January 25th and 27th, 2012, an international event that brings together more than 11,000 students, aspirants and professionals from the games sector, who seek to increase their network of relationships, get to know and exchange experiences and production techniques and dedicate themselves to the development of a new title.

The event, which is sponsored by Microsoft and Mozilla Corporation, has the main objective of finding talent to work in the area of game development and will allow participants to come together to create a new game in 48 hours.

“Currently, games for cell phones and tablets represent 58% of the market for games for mobile devices, and the tendency is for this percentage to increase in 2013. That is why large companies in the sector invest in events that reveal talent capable of creating games that will become a rage. A factor that makes the Global Game Jam a great opportunity to establish partnerships and expand work horizons”, says Bruno Melo, executive director of Gamux.

Those interested in participating in the Global Game Jam can register on the website www.gamux.com.br🇧🇷 Registration is free and places are limited.
