ABES, together with Brasscom, the National School of Public Administration (ENAP), the National Institute of Information Technology (ITI), the Ministry of Economy and the Competitive Brazil Movement, organized the seminar Brazil – Pillars of Digital Transformation, held in Brasília (DF) this Thursday (28/03/2019), in which the agenda for the digital transformation in the country to continue advancing was debated, based on a global, dynamic and collaborative environment that supports innovation in all aspects of the economy and social development.

ABES was represented at the event by Rodolfo Fücher, the association's new executive president, and by Emílio Lourdes. Some of the topics discussed were: the main drivers of digital transformation, emerging technologies, protection of personal data, security and the citizen's experience.

The general objective of the seminar was to discuss the consolidation of a set of interconnected policies that allow communities, companies and people, from anywhere in Brazil, to experience the benefits of digital transformation through concrete and measurable actions.

“The Brazilian government is to be congratulated for seeing in digital transformation a way to improve efficiency in serving citizens, reduce bureaucracy and administrative machine costs. The ICT sector is available to collaborate in this process”, highlighted Fücher.
