Opportunity for companies that develop software for e-commerce

E-commerce is expected to present nominal growth of 25%, reaching a turnover of R$ 28 billion in 2013, according to forecasts by e-bit, a company specialized in sector information. Opportunity for companies that develop software in the e-commerce market and that also operate in the security market for transactions in the virtual world.

For e-bit's business director, Cris Rother, the trend is for the result to be better than in 2012, due to the resumption of economic growth and the acceleration of sales of mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. “Each year we see greater adhesion of Brazilians to mobile devices due to the reduction in product prices, as shown by the FIPE Buscapé index, and the greater offer of broadband packages with more affordable prices. Only in 2012 the drop in cell phone prices compared to 2011 was -13,41%”, highlights Cris. Another factor pointed out by the executive is the constant entry of Class C (56%).

The director is betting on greater demand for televisions in 2013: “In 2010 we saw a very strong movement in sales of electronics, especially LED TVs and thin screens, mainly stimulated by the World Cup. In 2013, we will have the Confederations Cup, which may anticipate this renovation of the devices, aiming at the 2014 Cup”, he analyzes.
