New cloud-native, AI observability, and log management capabilities further simplify operations and accelerate innovation

THE Dynatrace, the leading Artificial Intelligence (AI)-based observability platform, announces significant advancements in its third generation platform, enabling customers to derive even greater value from its capabilities. The platform is reimagining observability by combining the power of analytics, AI, and automation to drive progress toward autonomous intelligence. Thousands of enterprise users will benefit from the company's third-generation platform, helping organizations transform data into decisions, and then into immediate, intelligent actions.

Dynatrace meets the demands of large, dynamic, and complex enterprise environments by redefining observability beyond insights to automate IT, cloud, security, and business operations.

"We're elevating the value of observability and building for the future of AI," says Bernd Greifeneder, Founder and Chief Technology Officer at Dynatrace. "Our third-generation platform is designed to harness the goldmine of data generated by contextual observability and transform it into real-time knowledge with AI, creating actionable insights, automating, and paving the way for autonomous intelligence."

New features available on the 3rd generation platform

In today's digital economy, companies face an explosion of data across cloud-native architectures, distributed systems, and AI-powered applications. At the heart of Dynatrace's third-generation platform is Grail, a data lakehouse Massively parallel processing that seamlessly unifies observability, security, and business data. Combined with Dynatrace's AI-powered analytics and automation, companies transform telemetry into accurate business insights and intelligent, automated actions across the organization.

New Dynatrace observability platform capabilities prioritize seamless operations across hybrid and multicloud to generate measurable business results. Key recent advances include:

– Cloud-native and AI-native acceleration for development:

– Developers can easily ingest and analyze data from cloud and serverless architectures through self-service access. Dynatrace simplifies data visualizations for common cloud patterns and revolutionizes debugging (debugging) of production with the only real-time debugger (live debugger) that can scale to thousands of concurrent developer sessions per tenant with breakpoints that don't interrupt execution for each session – with privacy protections.

– The Dynatrace Model Context Protocol (MCP) server enables developers to bring real-time observability data directly into their AI-assisted development workflows to better inform designs, strengthen security posture, or debug issues without leaving the Integrated Development Environment (IDE).

– Preventive operations enabled by agentic AI:

– Automated root cause analysis and remediation of Davis AI have been expanded to include agentic AI capabilities, enabling preventative operations and self-healing in complex scenarios involving multiple teams. This includes guided troubleshooting, interactive recommendations, and natural language “explain and summarize” capabilities to minimize manual intervention and streamline collaboration across ITOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), Platform Engineering, DevSecOps, and Development teams.

Davis CoPilot enables professionals to use a natural language interface to accelerate advanced analytics, easily create workflows or dashboards, and integrate with other technologies and solutions.

– Transformative log management experience:

– Dynatrace extends its unique capabilities to analyze all logs instantly – in the context of other observability data – through enhancements to the logs application and the engagement and explanations of the Davis CoPilot, revealing insights and answers previously hidden in the data.

– Dynatrace offers flexible pricing options, with retention-based and usage-based models, as well as hot/hot storage, with up to 10 years of retention.

Dynatrace achieves petabyte-per-day ingestion and management, allowing enterprises to manage enterprise-wide logs at scale with simple, automatic context analysis. The new, secure Kubernetes log collection simplifies the setup of cloud-native environments without the overhead and arduous work of competing legacy solutions with complex telemetry silos, storage layers, indexes, and schema definitions.

"With the volume of data worldwide expected to double in the next three years, increasingly dynamic and complex digital ecosystems, and the rise of AI, businesses need solutions that deliver more than visibility," said Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace. "Our newest capabilities are designed to drive proactive, intelligent automation that helps entire teams across an organization connect the dots to better understand their digital systems and continuously improve business outcomes."

By integrating AI-powered systems with advanced automation, Dynatrace is helping customers turn data into action, driving meaningful results.
