ABES director talks about innovation in Recife

Jamile Marques will participate in an event promoted by Porto Digital

On February 10, 2017, ABES innovation director, Jamile Sabatini Marques, will hold the lecture “Financing for Innovation”, in Recife (PE), as part of the diversified program of the 9th edition of RSS – Recife Summer School, promoted by Porto Digital. The presentation will start at 9 am and registrations can be made by email: clara.arruda@portodigital.org.
 
Jamile will take the opportunity to share with the public the result of the Abes Survey on Access to Financing, carried out between September and October 2016, which aimed to understand how companies in the technology sector have been seeking financing and what are the critical factors that have impacted the promotion of innovation in the software sector. In addition, it will talk about the current public funding sources available, helping to debunk some myths on the subject.
 
RSS, carried out in partnership with companies and institutions from the Porto Digital Technological Park ecosystem, has contributed to providing knowledge, promoting the exchange of ideas and fostering networking. The activities included in the program run until February 24, 2017 and include themes such as the creative economy, entrepreneurship, information technology and sustainability.
