Legal director of ABES holds lecture for new entrepreneurs in IT

On the last October 8th, the legal director of ABES, Dr. Manoel dos Santos, met with entrepreneurs from companies incubated by Cietec - (Center for Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Technology) to present the different laws that impact the technology market in Brazil. entrepreneurs of startups from different segments followed the lecture by the jurist, whose theme was “Most relevant laws for T entrepreneursI”.
 
The hour-long lecture was followed by a question-and-answer session. Among the points addressed, the legal director explained the importance of ABES' work in the development of projects and the execution of laws that impact companies in the sector, in addition to reporting on the creation process of Software Law Nº 7646, which regulates the software market in Brazil. One of the most frequently addressed questions by entrepreneurs was which taxation, municipal, state and federal startup fits.
 
The event is the result of ABES's partnership with Cietec, whose objective is to support the development of incubated companies and startups innovative technology base. In addition to lectures, these new companies now have access to all ABES services, consultancy to support innovation and promotion, public and private programs for growth and development and integration with the main players in the market. Currently, Cietec has 150 incubated companies, of which approximately 50 are technology.
