Dígitro Tecnologia, a Brazilian developer of Intelligence, IT and Telecom solutions, has just won the international CMMI (Capability Maturity Model Integration) certification, which attests to compliance with the highest global levels of excellence in software development. The achievement was the result of nearly two years of work and an investment of R$ 400 thousand, involving training, in addition to analyzing the environment and carrying out various improvement projects, aiming at speed, traceability and clarity of processes.

According to Guilherme de Assis Brasil, Technical Development Director, one of the challenges faced in obtaining the certificate was to maintain agility in the development processes. “The preparation period was long and demanded a lot of dedication and training from the team. We made several adaptations, in addition to improvements in some areas, but the result is the official recognition of the seriousness and competence of the professionals involved ”, says the executive.

CMMI certification guarantees systems based on quality processes compatible with the most stringent requirements in the market. “One of the advantages of this model is that it adapts to policies of continuous improvement, given its impersonality and detailed documentation, throughout the entire production cycle”, assesses Assis Brasil.

“With this additional credential, Dígitro reinforces its position as a qualified supplier to deliver cutting-edge technology to Brazilian and international customers”, concluded Guilherme.

In its software area, the company already uses PMI reference practices to manage its projects. In all of Latin America, the company was the first to obtain the TL 9000 certification, a specific standard for the telecommunications sector.
