Talita Lombardi, businesswoman, founder of the Startup Stars blog and working in the implementation of ten startups, during an online lecture promoted by the Sage group, highlighted important tips to help companies get more business in 2015. Check out five guidelines:

1. Make strategic partnerships
Establishing partnerships with renowned companies is a way to bring credibility to the brand. “Companies are too big to think about all the little details. Bringing ideas that deviate from the traditional is essential,” said Talita. She highlighted Qranio, a Brazilian startup that develops trivia games, which has developed bespoke games for large companies and clubs such as Flamengo and Cruzeiro. "Who's to say if you're good or not is your portfolio."

2. Be seen to be remembered
Brazilians tend to like what is in the media. “It is necessary to attract the curiosity of the press and generate media to tell people what you have to say”, he recommended.

3. Creativity and innovation are the keys to the business
Customers and consumers like to be surprised and delighted by creative brands. The expert highlighted that this also involves the creative use of social networks. She recalled a campaign carried out in 2012 by Peixe Urbano, which brought together a thousand people at Praia da Aleluia, in Salvador, to compose a human mosaic in the shape of a fish, in exchange for discounts on tickets to the Summer Festival.

4. Train a good team
The company staff must always be very well trained about the product and customer service. “The leader must be an example,” Talita said. For her, it is also important to have a goal defined in conjunction with her team and campaigns to encourage salespeople.

5. Get organized
It is essential to plan the budget in detail. “The marketing plan must be aligned with the sales team”, he said. According to her, a simple tip, but one that is often overlooked, is the weekly monitoring of results.
