Meeting on 11/06 in São Paulo is free for members

Data from the ABES/IDC 2018 Study confirm the evolution of the Internet of Things in the world, with investment growth around 28.7% in 2017 (compared to 2016). There is also an exponential growth in the number of connected devices. But, how is Brazil in this scenario? Is your company prepared to actively participate in this evolution?

To analyze these issues, ABES will hold on November 6, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm, at the Hotel Bourbon Convention Ibirapuera, in São Paulo, the event "IoT Challenges", with experts who will discuss the most important topics related to the entire ecosystem for the development of the Internet of Things in the country. The event is free for members.

“IoT is becoming one of the accelerators of innovation and digital transformation, leveraging other technological pillars: Big Data, Cloud, Social and Mobility. There are many actions underway in Brazil and entrepreneurs must engage with planning and identification of opportunities so as not to be swept away by the wave”, emphasizes Werter Padilha, coordinator of the IoT Committee at ABES.

The current National IoT Plan, government funding, security and legal liability in cases of incidents will be discussed in the schedule. Cases and practical actions will also be presented.

On the occasion, the Innovation Promotion Guide will be launched, a partnership between ABES and ABGI. The objective is to facilitate and demonstrate to entrepreneurs the opportunities to foster innovation, so that companies become even more competitive.
