São Paulo, Campinas and Florianópolis will have meetings with the author of the book “Os Idiotas do Bitcoin”

For anyone looking for a clearer explanation and answers about the trends of decentralization and asset transactions, associated with blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, Dennis Zasnicoff, author of the book "The Bitcoin Idiots", blockchain specialist, business consultant and who develops training in Florida (USA), is bringing for the first time to Brazil the workshop Blockchain, Bitcoin and the New Trends - in an Accessible Language !. There will be three meetings: São Paulo (SP), on 04/04); Campinas (SP) on 05/04; and Florianópolis (SC) on 06/04.

The objective, according to Zasnicoff, is for the participant to leave the training with a much clearer view of the technologies, concepts, myths, applications in daily life and their impact on society. It is very difficult to list the main doubts because, for the vast majority of people, they are completely new subjects. They still do not have a clear view of the basic concepts, advantages, limitations and objectives. The workshop is extremely useful for a wide audience, such as entrepreneurs, lawyers, developers, investors and enthusiasts in general ”, he highlights.

The opening of the event will be carried out by Carlos Sacco, marketing director at ABES, who is institutionally supporting the events. Entity members will have a discount on registration. Just contact us by email: carlos.sacco@abes.org.br

Cryptocurrencies: what do they represent?

With a duration of three hours, a central line of discussion will be presented, with total interaction with the participants, covering the themes: Situating the Blockchain; Bitcoin - a Blockchain experiment that worked; Users, Regulation; and Beyond Bitcoin. All participants will also receive a copy of the book “The Bitcoin Idiots”.

“There are literally hundreds of cryptocurrencies, perhaps thousands if you consider the & #39; tokens & #39; derived from other currencies. Cryptocurrencies, which are decentralized, depend on the community, on the ecosystem. If users are not strongly motivated, they will not support development and the currency will soon disappear. This is one of the great merits of Bitcoin, as it has an ecosystem, support, acceptance, development, history and number of users ”, he explains.

Speculation and the risks of investing in cryptocurrencies will be addressed at the workshop. “We will revisit some basic concepts of Economics, which are immutable: the risk will always be proportional to the potential for gains, competitiveness will always be related to profitability. A lot of people are losing money, because they just don't understand what they are doing and not because they are willing to make risky investments. And to make matters worse, there are many malicious schemes that are taking advantage of widespread ignorance to take advantage of the situation ”, warns Zasnicoff.

How blockchain will transform transactions

For him, the value of blockchain can be summed up in a few words: security, economy, inclusion, privacy, reliability, agility and democracy. “These are concepts that society is always looking to improve, whatever the scenario. Blockchain represents a viable solution to all of this and the benefits to the population are clear and gradual. Perhaps the biggest impacted are the intermediaries that exist today precisely to make these attributes viable: safety, reliability, inclusion, agility. They were useful for many years and ended up becoming extremely profitable institutions, such as banks, notaries, brokers, arbitrators and public agencies. But, the tendency is that they disappear and certainly they will do everything to delay this revolution as much as possible ”, he concludes.

Is that you? How do you plan to face these changes? Come learn and discuss about these workshops.
