Part of RAD Studio, new version also comes with multi-tenancy support

Embarcadero Technologies, a leader in award winning solutions for application development, launches new versions of the Delphi and C ++ Builder tools, also included in its RAD Studio development suite. The main novelty of the launch is the Linux compiler built into Delphi, which allows customers to migrate new or existing Windows server applications to Linux servers.

The addition of Linux support allows RAD Studio developers to compile for all major platforms - Windows, Linux, MacOS, iOS and Android - with the security and speed normally associated with natively compiled applications. It also includes support for MariaDB in FireDAC, accelerates application prototyping, simplifies the development of user interfaces between different platforms and remains innovative in support for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Store. Another important novelty is the evolution of the RAD Server, with support for managing multiple deployments from the same server, known as multi-tenancy, with the flexibility to choose low-cost Linux servers, on-premise or hosted in the cloud.

"Embarcadero has been focusing on enabling new horizons for developers, helping them to increase their skills and gains. To that end, in the last few years, we have transformed the development environment, allowing for multi-platform, multi-language, multi-device and now multi-server hyperconnected applications. We are excited to help customers reduce server costs, as we have done in the past, with the saving of time and resources, provided by the use of a single code base for any destination that the developer wants ", says José Eugênio Braga, president of Embarcadero do Brasil.

To present the new version, Embarcadero promotes a roadshow, with free events in several cities in the country. More information and registration on the website: www.embarcaderobr.com.br/tour.
