“Datalogic is one of the only companies to carry out the complete production of this type of technology in Brazil. In this plant, we will produce a wide range of innovative solutions in advanced data capture, such as barcode scanners and mobile computers – known in this market as data collectors – for applications in the retail, transport and logistics, manufacturing and healthcare markets,” he says. Bill Parnell, CEO of Datalogic ADC. “Brazil is considered a fast-growing market with great business potential. This factory also aims to supply all of Latin America with products and services with a strong value proposition”, he adds.

Investe São Paulo advised Datalogic in the search for areas to set up the company. “Projects related to information and communication technology are given priority in the State of São Paulo. Investe SP believes that these products add value to the production chain and promote the creation of highly qualified jobs. The installation of Datalogic in Jundiaí will be fundamental for the economy and for the population of this region”, says the president of Investe São Paulo, Luciano Almeida.
