Initiative led by Aden Group establishes consortium of companies to build hospital within 100 days

Dassault Systèmes and Aden Group, one of Asia's largest integrated facilities management companies, announce their intention to collaborate on the development of a turnkey hospital infectious disease solution called Akila Care, which can be quickly deployed and easily maintained in countries severely impacted by COVID-19 and in urgent need of high-quality medical facilities. This new initiative appears after the successful experience of Wuhan hospital, which was the first hospital in the world created in a few days.

The two companies are working together to develop new processes in engineering, construction and hospital operations, leveraging Dassault Systèmes' 3DEXPERIENCE platform and Aden Group's Akila Care smart and connected hospital concept. The solution is based on a collaborative virtual environment for the design, simulation and development of hospitals that can be built and up and running within 100 days and remain operational for many years, in addition to optimizing their operations and maintenance throughout their lifecycle. of life. As part of the collaboration, the two companies plan to assemble a consortium of companies specializing in medical equipment, engineering and construction to offer a solution to countries that need it most.

“In a global context where determination and swift action are essential to help fight COVID-19, the combination of quickly built modular architecture with the digital platform can accelerate the construction of a state-of-the-art medical facility and ensure that you stay fully operational in record time," said Francois Amman and Joachim Poylo, co-founders of the Aden Group. commitments to deliver quickly and efficiently, as well as to ensure long-term hospital maintenance and safety, anticipating the possibility of other pandemics”.

Once developed, the hospital solution will provide a collaborative virtual environment in which employees and suppliers will be invited to utilize a hospital's Virtual Twin (Virtual Twin) to optimize space planning, module design, negative pressure isolation rooms, and other features , simulate its manufacture and equipment, in addition to training its employees for its construction. After the hospital is built, the solution will be used for digital asset management, connecting the facility to state-of-the-art medical equipment to monitor digitized hygiene procedures and robots on the hospital floor.

“Aden Group's Akila Care's innovative and proven approach to results-based facility management requires intelligent, connected modular facilities, designed and built using an advanced manufacturing approach. Modularity and operation-centric installations can only be possible through an integrated, end-to-end, holistic Virtual Twin solution. The 3DEXPERIENCE platform is the catalyst and enabler of this radical transformation, making our alliance a showcase for the future delivery of mission-critical infrastructure,” said Bernard Charlès, Vice Chairman and CEO of Dassault Systèmes. "Together, j&aac ute; we have demonstrated how simulating the contamination and spread of viruses in the Leishenshan hospital's ventilation system can help meet urgent healthcare needs, and we will now work together to apply our knowledge and know-how in all aspects of the hospital life cycle".
