Dassault Systèmes, 3DEXPERIENCE company, announces actions to support the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. The initiatives follow the new strategic direction recently announced by the company: “From Things to Life”.
“The 3DEXPERIENCE platform enables seamless remote collaboration anytime, anywhere and allows all users to understand, experience and communicate. In the midst of today's crisis, our collaborative 3D Cloud platform approach replaces an older, slower approach that was based on documents," says Alejandro Chocolat, Managing Director of Dassault Systèmes for Brazil and Latin America.
An example of how technology applied to the area can be used to benefit society is the cooperation of Dassault Systèmes with the Institute of Architectural Design of South-Central China (CSADI) to support the simulation and assessment of virus spread in the Leishenshan Hospital's ventilation system in Wuhan (China), counteracting the negative effects of unplanned To this end, Dassault Systèmes donated the SIMULIA XFlow software, connected to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, to CSADI to simulate the flow of internal and external fluids, virus dispersion in ventilation systems and other projects in the hospital.
