FEBRABAN's Cybersecurity Laboratory launched the Cyber Academy Project, which offers free vacation courses in July and December aimed at learning and training students at colleges and universities who are studying Computing, Networks, Systems and other courses related to Technology and Cybersecurity in any semester. The first class of the project is now open for registration and will begin remotely on July 3rd.
Registration can be done at this link until June 22nd or when the digital platform limit is reached (1,000 places). The course will last 40 hours and will be taught between July 3rd and 14th from 7pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday. At the end of the program, students will undergo an assessment and, if they meet minimum criteria, will receive a certificate of participation.
The training is focused on cybersecurity with practical content aimed at technical and management professionals at financial institutions. On this front of the laboratory, the objective is to train professionals at different levels of training. Defense exercises are promoted in cyberspace and practices that provide responses to virtual incidents are encouraged.
The course will have five modules: Fundamentals of Cybersecurity; Cybersecurity Architecture and Design; Attacks, Threats and Vulnerabilities; Operations and Incident Response; and Governance, Risk and Compliance. All courses will be taught by Accenture instructors.
