Course in Florianópolis seeks to promote improvement in software development

Participants in the MPS.Br training promoted by ACATE will be certified by Softex

The Santa Catarina Association of Technology Companies (ACATE), in partnership with Incremental Tecnologia and Softex, promote an Introduction to MPS.BR (C1-MPS.BR), on October 16 and 17, in Florianópolis (SC).

The course schedule provides an introduction to the MPS program, focusing on the MR-MPS Reference Model – which conforms to the International Standards ISO/IEC 12207 and ISO/IEC 15504 – and which is compliant with the CMMI-DEV. The MA-MPS Assessment Method will also be presented, according to ISO/IEC 15504-2, and will show the steps for a professional to be qualified as an MPS Implementer and/or Assessor.

Course participants will receive a certificate of participation, which will be issued by SOFTEX. There are no prerequisites to apply and places are limited. Instructor - The course will be taught by the lead implementer and evaluator MPS.BR, accredited by SOFTEX, Sarah Kohan. She has ten years of experience in Quality programs, developing training activities, implementation and process improvements based on CMMI models, MPS.BR, ISO 12207 and ISO 15504.

O MPS.BR is an initiative of the Association for the Promotion of Excellence in Brazilian Software (Softex) and its objective is to improve the quality and productivity of Brazilian software using internationally recognized quality indices. With the implementation of the model, it is expected to reduce production costs, encourage the adoption of best software engineering practices, in addition to achieving improvements in processes and products, greater control and project management, competitiveness and differentiation in the market.
