ABES is one of the supporters of Smart City Business America

The capital of Paraná will host the Smart City Business America Congress & Expo, the largest urban management congress in Latin America, to be held between March 28 and 30, at Expo Unimed, in Curitiba (PR).

The event, which has the institutional support of ABES, will receive more than 80 mayors from 10 countries in Latin America, in addition to dozens of CEOs of large companies, to discuss how public administration and private initiative can contribute to development cities and improving citizens' quality of life.

“Those who have already been to our congress can be sure that this year's event will be even more dynamic and productive. We renewed and signed new partnerships that are fundamental for building a rich and results-oriented agenda ”, highlights Leopoldo de Albuquerque, president of the Smart City Business Institute and organizer of the event.

During the three days of the congress, more than 40 speakers, including Brazilian and international leaders, will present various themes and experiences of public administration. There will also be an exhibition with companies that work with innovative projects and advanced technologies, sharing knowledge in an area of 4,500 m².

Side events will also be programmed, such as the UN-Habitat agenda and Lincoln Institute of Land Policy, which will discuss themes related to urban financing, Public-Private Partnership and other associative models that seek to improve the quality of public services and urban infrastructure. In parallel, urban architecture, innovation and startups forums will take place, as well as relationship events such as business breakfast, cocktail and mayors' lunch.
